Aura Painting
“My aura paintings are a rendering of what I see in my mind’s eye when I tune into another person’s energy. They represent my intuition of your energy field through color, form, and texture. I work face to face, from memory, or a photograph.”
— Bella Toso
Aura Painting — The Process
When I create an aura painting, I take time to tune in, to quiet myself and sense into the energy field of my subject. Colors and shapes appear in my mind’s eye, and I put them onto the paper. The process feels like listening with my whole being, then giving form to what I see. Once the painting is complete, I like to have a conversation with my subject about my interpretation and their own experience. This is the best part. When doing these as commissions, this conversation takes place as a phone call or email correspondence.
