Story of the divine feminine spirit of America, Columbia.

A myth for our time written by Bella Toso & Soren Dietzel, with original artwork from Toso 2026 Series, Redeeming Red.

This story was originally conceived of for social arts course, Build Me a Temple, and was researched and written in the period of March 2026 to June 2026.

Much of the work took shape at Free Columbia, artist residency program in Columbia County, New York, directed by Dietzel, where Toso was artist-in-residence.

The process of bringing this story into being was a source of inspiration for both authors. They offer it here in the hope that it might awaken something in others, as well.
